First establish your budget size, how much do you wish to spend? Next, consider the situation that the CCTV camera(s) are to be deployed in. Following this, how many cameras will you require? What locations are they going to be the most noticable and effective? Different dummy CCTV camera types cater for different needs.
There are a wide range of dummy CCTV cameras (domes, c-mounts, bullets, exterior etc) to choose from that that should meet every specific requirement:
